JLO kicked off 2020 in Tokyo, Japan this February where our subject matter experts delivered the eighth annual United Nations Staff Officers’ Course in partnership with the Japan Training and Research Center. This is the latest event in a series of US-Japan peacekeeping trainings which began in 2009. Our team conducted a multi-day integrated exercise where twenty participants from eight countries demonstrated their knowledge of UN Forces and Sector headquarters staff functions in a simulated multidimensional peacekeeping operation.
